Taking your projects!

Howdy folks!

I’ve put the DomRunner series on hold for now.

For the time being, I’m taking your project suggestions! Give me a project to complete and I will document my own design and build process from head to toe.

NOTES:

  • I will not take all suggestions that come my way, but I will take on at least one.
  • Keep the project small/medium sized
  • Try to keep it generic enough that anyone could use it.

Post your suggestion in the comments!

First!

Hello there, random reader!

A long time ago, I promised a few readers/followers that I would relaunch GeekLAN as a development blog instead of a random test site for conceptual code. I dropped the ball on that one. The site is now on-course as originally planned as a development blog (still focused on my own work) until I get a bit better at writing to push out tutorials.

The first project I’m going to write about (in the next post) will be about a very, very generic domain crawler that I wrote for grins and giggles. I’ll step you through the initial idea until it grew into quite a beast (compared to what it started out as).
